£1,500 Cash Prize Draw - Terms and Conditions of Entry

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern the Scroll Home £1,500 Cash Prize Draw (the "Prize Draw"). By entering the Prize Draw, you accept these Terms in full and agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully before entering. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not enter.
1. The Promoter
The Prize Draw is promoted by Reels Estate Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16686100), whose registered office is at 12 Viridis Apartments, London, SW11 1BZ, trading as Scroll Home (the "Promoter", "we", "us" or "our").
Any questions, comments or complaints about the Prize Draw should be sent to the Promoter at info@scrollhome.co.uk.
2. Not affiliated with Instagram
Where the Prize Draw is advertised on Instagram, it is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Meta, and you release Instagram and Meta from any and all liability arising in connection with the Prize Draw.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible to enter the Prize Draw, you must, at the time of entry:
- Be aged 18 years or over;
- Be a legal resident of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland); and
- Not be an employee, officer, director, agent or contractor of the Promoter, nor an immediate family member of, or person living in the same household as, any such person, nor anyone else professionally connected with the administration of the Prize Draw.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age, identity and residence before any prize is awarded, and reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet these requirements or who has not complied with these Terms.
4. Promotion period
The Prize Draw opens when the promotion goes live and closes at 23:59 (UK time) on 31 August 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Any entry received after the Promotion Period will not be valid. The Promoter's system clock will be the official timekeeper for the Prize Draw.
5. How to enter
Entry to the Prize Draw is free and no purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win. To enter, during the Promotion Period you must submit your name and a valid email address through the entry form at scrollhome.co.uk.
Once you have submitted a valid entry during the Promotion Period, you will be entered into the Prize Draw. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. Where more than one entry is received from the same person or the same email address, the Promoter reserves the right to treat these as a single entry or to disqualify the entrant. Entries made using any automated system, bot or script are not permitted and will be disqualified. Entries are personal to the entrant and cannot be made on behalf of, or transferred to, any other person.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or that do not comply with these Terms in full will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, incomplete, or not received for any reason, including as a result of any technical, network, hardware or software failure of any kind.
6. The prize
There is one (1) prize available to be won: a cash sum of one thousand five hundred pounds sterling (£1,500) (the "Prize").
The Prize will be paid to the winner by bank transfer to a UK bank account held in the winner's own name. The winner will be required to provide the necessary account details to receive payment.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-exchangeable. There is no cash or other alternative to the Prize, save that the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary. The Promoter's decision as to the awarding of the Prize is final.
The winner is solely responsible for any taxes, levies or other liabilities that may arise as a result of receiving the Prize. The Promoter recommends that the winner seeks independent financial advice where appropriate.
7. Winner selection and notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period, by a verifiably random method, within seven (7) days after the close of the Promotion Period.
The winner will be notified by email using the contact details associated with their entry, within seven (7) days of the draw taking place. To claim the Prize, the winner must respond to the notification and provide the required verification and payment details within fourteen (14) days of the date the notification is first sent.
If a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, does not respond within fourteen (14) days, fails to meet the eligibility criteria, fails to provide satisfactory proof of age, identity or residence, or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries. The same conditions will apply to any alternative winner.
The name of the winner (first name, first initial of surname and county of residence) will be made available on request by writing to the Promoter at the email address above, within one (1) month of the closing date. If you object to your details being made available, please contact the Promoter before the closing date; we will still need to provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
8. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, cancel or withdraw the Prize Draw at any stage where this is necessary for reasons reasonably beyond its control, including where the proper conduct or security of the Prize Draw is compromised by fraud, technical failure, or any other cause. The Promoter will not be liable to any entrant as a result.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whom it reasonably believes has breached, or attempted to breach, any of these Terms, has interfered with the proper operation of the Prize Draw, or has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, unfair, or otherwise contrary to the spirit of the Prize Draw.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by any entrant in connection with the Prize Draw or the acceptance, use or enjoyment of the Prize. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The Prize Draw is a free prize draw and is not a lottery, betting or gaming activity for the purposes of the Gambling Act 2005. The Promoter will administer the Prize Draw in accordance with the relevant rules of the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code).
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
9. Data protection
Reels Estate Group Limited is the data controller for the personal data you provide when entering the Prize Draw. We will process your personal data (including your name and contact details, and for the winner, verification and bank details) for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner, awarding the Prize, and complying with our legal obligations. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in running the Prize Draw and, in respect of certain steps, compliance with our legal obligations.
The Prize Draw is run to promote the launch of the Scroll Home app and to build our launch mailing list. By entering, you are joining that mailing list and you consent to receiving marketing emails from us about the launch of the app and related updates. The lawful basis for sending you these emails is your consent. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time, using the link in any email or by contacting us at the address above; withdrawing your consent will not affect your entry in the Prize Draw or your chance of winning. We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, after which it will be securely deleted.
You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
